Click Image not working in VM 2

Hi guys, I’m having the same problem as the guy on te link, but I couldn’t solve my problem because I still have some questions and the topic is closed.

To summarize:
When the Robot is running on the VM it can’t find a Image to click, but when open the VM to see why it is not finding the image, the robot finds the image that it is supposed to find.

I’ve tried to set screen resolution on orchastrator but I don’t know how to do it, And I’m also finding difficult to understand how to do it when I look on the internet.

Can somebody help me??

Kindly try with computer vision activity
for more info on this

Hi, Palaniyappan! Thank you for your answer, but I believe it won’t work, because its not that the robot can’t identify the image. But it seems that when the Robot runs when i’m not logged in VM the Robot doesn’t find the image for some reason that I dont know but probably have some thing to do with resolution screen.

fine is the screen brought to the foreground so that the bot can find the image
for that make sure that maximize window activity as a first activity once a window is openned
–still if issue persists and if you want to change the screen resolution.
then here go

hope this would help you

Because I’m trring to set screen resoltuion for the robot. In the link you sent me says that in order to do it I have to access the Uipath.Settings file —> %ProgramData%\UiPath\UiPath.settings

Sorry for the delayed response
This is a common issue
we need to have a file permission to open the settings file
Kindly get the admin rights and try to open the same
Hope that would work for sure

Hi! I’ve just changed the resolution. But it still doesnt work. Do I have to do something else in order to work? If not have no idea on what the problm is.

Did you try maximize as suggested above?

Hi Sagacity! thank you for your help!
I’m sorry but I didnt understand what do you mean. If its about the resolution I’ve put the same size as the virtual machine I work (height:1366 and width:768)

Thanks again for your help, Sagacity! Actually It can’t be maximized. It’s a kind of pop up that opens when I click on a button in my client’s desktop application. And when it opens has a defined sized, in other words, I can’t change the size.
But like I said, when I see the robot running it locates the button’s image, but when I close the VM and let the Robot running, It simply doesnt find.

Hi, Palaniyappan! Do I have to invoke this Uipath.Settings in my workflow in order to work?
