Click activities not working in aws intances

HI All,

I am running a simple workflow(opens a browser and clicks ‘Gmail’ in it) in amazon virtual machine, this workflow works well when my VM is in maximized window and when it’s minimized only the browser is opened and the click activity fails due to time out error.
Also the result is same when the virtual machine window is closed.

So robot will run properly only when VM’s are opened in our desktop and maximized. Pls advice.

Workflow not working in Virtual Machine

No problem, I hope when you talk about minimize the window you are talking about Remote Desktop If it is unattended robot, you dont need to minimize the window, orchestrator will kill the session. And the robot will do the needful. I think it is designed like that. Simler thing happed to me when i log back to the vm after starting the job. But when I dont log in, the robot finishs the job I hope you try with out login to the vm and see the result. Best regards Husain

@sreekanth Thanks for this, but this post highlights the issue but don’t give any reasons or solutions. Could you pls let me know what is the issue here if you are aware of this.
(Also i tried with launch work flow/ changed screen resolution/used selectors but nothing works when vm is minimized)
