Clearing down a document

Hi Folks,

Is there any way of clearing down an MS Word document before writing a new instance of data to it?

Thanks

Hi @douglascmcewan

I think so you can use Hotkeys for the same by using send hotkey activities

Ctrl+A to select entire data from word doc
del to delete all data

Mark as solution and like it if this helps you

Hi Pratik,

Thanks for this, is there a way of placing the cursor at the beginning of the document as the first action after opening it?

Thanks,
D.

Hi @douglascmcewan

Actually word doc itself start from the cursor placing at the beginning at the initial stage after getting open.

Even though you want some way then you can use Send Hotkey activity with selecting key as ‘pgup’
