Classic to modern folder migration - 2022.10.x

Hi team,

I am planning migration our classic folder to modern folder.
Should I login to orchestrator hosted server and login as an admin and then use the migration tool?

Can any one help me the steps and precautions that I need to follow before migration.

I have recently upgraded our orchestrator to 2022 from 2018 and the robots and studio are still using 2019 version. Should I update these robots and studio first before this migration or I can do that after the migration?

Yes, you should login to the Orchestrator hosted server and login as an admin to use the migration tool.

If you have recently upgraded your Orchestrator to 2022 from 2018, then you should update your robots and Studio to the latest version before migrating to modern folders. This is because the modern folders functionality is not available in the older versions of Studio and Robots.

But make a backup of your Orchestrator database before you start the migration. This will help you to restore your data if anything goes wrong during the migration.

Is there is a possiblility to create a modern folder before migrating from classic to modern? Because as a premigration step we need to create two folders named “assets” And " Queues"

how to know the classic folder Id? We have only tanent and after orchestrator upgrade, “default” is showing in the folders.

Kindly help me on this.
