Citizen Developer Incentives

Hello,

We are currently looking for an incentive approach for our Citizen Developer Program. What kind of incentives do you use to maximize the motivation of your citizens?

I would be happy to receive a few suggestions and cases.

One initiative I have explored is to invite our Citizen Developers to a 1½-hour’ish online “share-your-experience” meeting, about every other month.

Here we have tested a format for the meetings where the CoE will come up with a 20-minute presentation, focused around some theme in development.

Themes such as:

• Going from Classic to Modern Design Experience
• Debugging in UiPath Studio
• Integration with Version Control System in UiPath Studio

After the presentation the meeting changes into an “around the table” informal talk, where people have a chance to communicate the challenges they face or perhaps share some neat tips and tricks.

I think the attendance and feedback has been great.

One other initiative we have had, but at a much larger scale, is to host conferences within the sector where we develop automations.
Here we have invited both external and internal presenters which give a good variaty in subjects.
