Chrome extension update (versions 18.3 to 21.4)

Hello, I’m experiencing issues with the Chrome extension since the release of the new version (9.0.6824 to 9.0.6827).

Problem: The chrome extension is corrupted, causing automation to fail with the error message “can’t communicate with chrome browser”. I’ve already started a thread about it, but I haven’t been able to solve the problem.

Hello, The UiPath chrome extension is showing an error message “This extension may have been corrupted” for a few seconds and repairs it automatically. This is happening every time I close and open the chrome browser. The UiPath chrome extension shows the error message “This extension may have been corrupted,” and if we look for it on the chrome extension page, it will be automatically repaired in a few seconds.

Last day, I noticed that the corrupted one is the older version 9.0.6824 and once it is repaired the latest one is getting installed 9.0.6827.

Versions:

Browser: Google Chrome
Studio: 20.10.2
Extension: 9.0.6824 to 9.0.6827
Chrome version: Tried with various versions, 90.0.4430.93, 100.0.4896.60 and also, with the latest one
Robot Type: Unattended
