I’m using Community Studio 2021.2.0-beta.44
My chrome extension showed that it was no longer valid so I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times from the studio and nothing shows up as installed in my chrome browser extension list.
Is there a fix?

Your UiPath Studio version is very old (2021 beta), and it’s likely not compatible anymore with recent versions of Google Chrome.
I recommend you:
- Update UiPath Studio to a newer supported version (preferably the latest LTS)
- Update Chrome as well
- Then reinstall the extension from Studio
This usually fixes the issue immediately.

You are on a very old version of studio.
But what surprises me the most is that it didn’t upgrade on its own.
Please note:
UiPath Studio Community Edition automatically updates itself to the latest stable version whenever a new release is available. These updates are pushed to the software, and it is not possible to disable this automatic update feature.
Kindly consider upgrading!
I downloaded the installer called UiPathStudioCommunity.msi and when I double click to start it a window pops up for a second and then closes and nothing happens. Is the free community studio still valid?
Do you know where to get the free community edition? I tried downloading one but it doesn’t load. It says preparing to install then closes.

Where are you downloading it from? Do you have an account on UiPath automation cloud?

If you are downloading then version is definitely not 2021..it must be 2026 version
Now coming to download..please go to orchestrator → right top ? Icon → downloads → download the studio from here
And if it does not install try to first uninstall from program manager delete any UiPath related folders and then re install
