Chrome consuming a lot of resources with closed rdp

Chrome consuming a lot of resources with closed rdp, I created a process and executed it remotely through an amazon ec2. The process works correctly with the machine connected via RDP, however when I close the machine and execute the process it starts normal, but then it consumes more and more resources of the machine and the execution starts to be very slow, I don’t know what to do
