I am unable to open UiPath assistant on an unattended robot account. The application will not start (both via shortcut and the root application), and no error message is generated. I have confirmed through task manager that Assistant is not already running in the background. It simply refuses to start.
Additionally, while attempting to sign in on UiPath using the unattended robot account I am encountering the error message “Cannot sign in or sign out while processes are running”. I have confirmed on Orchestrator that there no processes running, however this message continuously pops up.
I think somehow the two issues are related, however I have been unable to find a solution. Any help would be much appreciated.
I know its too late to respond on this thread but I was facing the same issue and after doing lots of research, I got to know that licenses were not assigned to USER.
First, check if any Job is running in the orchestrator, if running, stop/kill the job. Then check the Admin > Licenses>Allocate License to User > select the appropriate licenses.
Restart the UiPath and UiPath assistant as well & re-open the workflow.
