Someone on our team created a solution in Studio Web but did not share it with anyone before they left. Their account is still active, they just don’t have access to sign in and share it, and we don’t really have access to them to ask about this.
One of our team members with Admin access went looking around for the solution in Studio Web, but they cannot see it.
My question is, is there a way for any of us to get access to this solution to be able to edit it? It exists somewhere in the cloud, and I feel like theoretically someone besides the project owner should be able to get us access to it.
I think you have lost access to the Solution and need to make a ticket with UiPath to resolve this.
This is a current gap in the way Studio Web works, and a pretty serious one.
I’ve been stressing to the Product managers that this is quite a serious and nasty issue waiting to happen if people don’t realize and share their solutions.
I’ve been advocating for a way for admins to see all solutions, which would solve this.
The same is true of custom Integration Service connections, that one is slightly worse since there is no way to share the editable version even if you wanted to.
Thankfully, they sent us the .uis file and all other work related to the project. Not sure why they didn’t just share the project with someone, though. Oh well. Thanks again.
