Hi,
Getting the below error when I am using “Deserialize JSON” activity inside 1 of my process.

Error:
Deserialize JSON: Cannot deserialize the current JSON object (e.g. {“name”:“value”}) into type ‘Newtonsoft.Json.Linq.JToken’ because the type requires a JSON array (e.g. [1,2,3]) to deserialize correctly.

To fix this error either change the JSON to a JSON array (e.g. [1,2,3]) or change the deserialized type so that it is a normal .NET type (e.g. not a primitive type like integer, not a collection type like an array or List) that can be deserialized from a JSON object. JsonObjectAttribute can also be added to the type to force it to deserialize from a JSON object.

But the same “Deserialize JSON” is working fine independently.

I had same issue, it happens only in debug mode for me. I noticed I had two version of Uipath studio installed, after removing one the issue was fixed.

I was able to ‘fix’ it by removing the updated Mail Activities package that contains a newer NewsoftJSON (13+).

Hi, I have a similar issue. My code was working fine until it suddenly was not. I have tried to start a new project and copied and pasted activities from the old project to the new project. But this does not solve the problem…

The Json response I tried to parse is quite simple, something like
