"Cannot communicate with the browser" after 10hrs in a long running job


I have a workflow that is bulk processing a large list of items where a browser is opened and closed for each of those items being processed.
Everything works perfectly fine for about 10 hours, after which I receive an error “Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension.” on an Open Browser activity.
I have run this process several times, and this generally happens after 9-10 hours of runtime.
Any comments and feedback on how to go about resolving the issue are appreciated.

Update: Browser used is Chrome Version 86.0.4240.183

Can you tell me which browser you are using and the version of the browser?

Did you have any luck fixing this issue for yourself? If not, feel free to provide more details :slight_smile: (like your Studio version).

It might be worth making a screenshot of the screen at the time of the crash as well.

The process actually hasn’t been run again since November so I’m not sure :slight_smile:
There might be a reason to run it again soon though. I’ll send an update if we do.
