Cannot close a project/process due to error

When I try to close the project, I get an error with a message saying “exception has been thrown by a target of invocation”. I have checked if there are any null values or background processes running but they are not.

may i know where or at which activity this error is invoked
or try closing the UiPath studio by killing the process in task manager
and try again to open the same process and close it
