This worked fine in Studio and QA where we are connected to a cloud tenant.
When we migrated to production, which is still on-prem, we are getting this error:
Cannot authenticate, not connected to Orchestrator. Exception details: Failed to fetch Document Understanding projects list. Please connect to a tenant that has Document Understanding enabled.
We actually don’t have Document Understanding enabled in our cloud QA tenant, yet the activity did not fail. Is this error being caused because we are still on-prem for cloud? The activity doesn’t give any indication it’s trying to connect to anything external, there’s no property for license key, use local server, nothing like that so I thought it’s just a local OCR activity like the others.

Hi @postwick
Yeah by default UiPath Document OCR engine is cloud based so uses Document understanding even without you setting it up in the cloud tenant.
If you would like to use it on prem you can try installing the local package which uses the machine that the robot is running from as opposed to the cloud.
