Why the Unattended Setup flow cannot be successfully completed due to "Cannot add assignment: one or more of the provided entities do not exist.(#2808)" error ?
Issue Description:
When using the "Unattended Robot" setup under the dedicated Machines configuration in Orchestrator, at the third step "Folder selection", the "Cannot add assignment: one or more of the provided entities do not exist.(#2808)" error is encountered.
Error Message: "Cannot add assignment: one or more of the provided entities do not exist.(#2808)"
Root Cause: The content stored inside the browser's Local Storage.
Resolution: Clear the browser's Local Storage and then perform the configuration steps to again utilize the Unattended setup feature.
The following steps can be followed to clear the browser's Local Storage:
- Open the web browser
- Locate the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen. Click on this to access more options
- From the dropdown menu, navigate towards 'More Tools'
- Within More Tools, find and click on the 'Developer Tools' option
- In Developer Tools, find and select the 'Application' tab
- Under the Application tab, there is a section labeled 'Local Storage'. It should display all stored entries
- Right-click on each entry individually and select 'clear' to clear the data.
