Can you automate Azure Devops activities (new stories etc) either via API or web?

Hi All,
Wanting to automate functions in Azure DevOps (visual studio) web app.
Such as:

  • Creating new stories / features
  • Updating existing stories / acceptance criteria etc.

Aside from manually recording via the web app and then repeating the process through my spreadsheet, is there a smart way to do this?
Is there an API that is available?
Is there an extension that knows the web front end of Azure DevOps?
