Hello experts !
is it possible to run two bots at same time in community version?
I know there is option for production and testing.
is it possible if so , how ?
Yes, in the Community version, you can run two bots simultaneously using different user accounts (Robot users) on the same machine by utilizing different Orchestrator Tenants or folders. Each user account will need a separate Robot license.
-Install UiPath Assistant on your machine. This is where you manage and run your attended robots
-If you have an Orchestrator instance (even in the Community Edition), you can connect UiPath Assistant to Orchestrator to manage your licenses more efficiently. This step is optional for running two robots, but it can be beneficial for license management.
-In UiPath Assistant, make sure that you have two available attended robot licenses allocated to your machine.
-You can now run two attended robots simultaneously on your machine using UiPath Assistant.
I did not get the point, as community version is free of cost then what is the use of license here ?
you can connect UiPath assistant to orchestrator to manage your licenses more efficiently

Can you please elaborate more on how to run two process simultaneously ?
What i have done till now is :
- In tenant > Machines > Add Machine > Machine Template : Given name as ForTesting and set the RunTime details of Testing value as 1. As i have already created a machine names as Dell and set the production value as 1.
Now what to do further ? can you please tell me the procedure. ?
AnyOne can help me to solve my query ?
if you want to run attended then you can run two as you have two attended licenses in community
If you want to run unattended you can still keep your machine open and run on one as only one licenses is available and needs to be open because service mode installation is not available in community version
These are the possibilities for you
cheers
Hello,
yet i have not got the response for question 2 & 3.
Question as @prabin_chand1 asked.
- Do you mean i can run 2 (attended only) process simultaneously in community edition ?
- Do you mean i cannot run 2 (unattended only) process simultaneously in community edition?
or
Do you mean in community edition I can only run 1 unattended and 1 attended processes ?
Please make me clear about this.
Thank you
Cheers
