Can UI Path bots replace batch programs?

Hi,

I am looking for a way to get rid of a few batch programs in my Web Application and use UI path.

I work for a large company, and we can get the enterprise license, if I can prove that this solution will save money.

But my primary requirements are -

  1. Bot should run automatically on a schedule
  2. It should be deployable to a private cloud server
  3. It should work with API calls and reading response to make the next decisions in the flow.

Please let me know if I should pursue this further, or if you think UI Path will not fulfill my requirements.

Hi,

It seems necessary to purchase Flex Automation license Dev and Flex Unattended license, at least. If your task always use the Unattended License, whole the price will be cost of ROI of this task. However, if there are much time slot to vacant, it might be possible to share the cost with another tasks, as Unattended is concurrent runtime license.
Anyway, perhaps you should contact reseller to get estimate these license.

Probably no problem in general, but it depends on detailed requirement.
