Can someone elaborate how SLA and SLA, At Risk work

I bumped into this question while studying Orchestrator Triggers and Monitoring:

Consider an item added to a queue at 17:00. The average processing time of the queue is 30 minutes. The SLA is 3 hours and the risk SLA is 2 hours. If a robot picks it up at 18:30, what would the status of the queue item be?

a. Out SLA

b. In SLA

c. In SLA, at risk

I am kinda confused about how’s the answer ‘In SLA’. I analyzed the question this way:

  • Robot picks up the queue at 18:30
  • Ends the transaction at 19:00
  • Risk deadline at 19:00
  • Deadline at 20:00

The risk deadline still covers the transaction end time, hence SLA, At Risk.

Is there something I am missing? Thank you so much.

Hi,

The official document “At risk” section says, “they are not going to be processed within the risk deadline”. In this case, as the item will be processed by (within) 19:00 (deadline), it doesn’t apply “at risk”
