Can select item use fuzzy search?

i wonder if “select item” can use fuzzy search,if can ,how can i use the wildcard or something?

i have a select box, and i want to choose one according to a given string,but they cannot suit perfectly. for example, the given string is “三井住信_大阪本7665818”,but there is only “三井住信_大阪中7665818” in the select box, so i will meet a exception said there is not a item in the select item.so what should i do? is there any solutions? thanks a lot

Yes, it is possible. All you need to do is use any of the two wildcards:
? for single characters
* for multiple characters
