Can HAA setup with username instead of email?

The UiPath installation of HAA document states that an Email ID and Password needs to be entered while setting up nodes (sh get -haa.sh -u email -p password ) . Would it be possible to just use the username here instead of email while configuring?

The script is checking the provided parameter is in an email format and containing @ in.

So, it is not possible nor tested to use username instead of email id.
