How do I get UiPath to automatically know what day of the week it is? I need my project to be able to identify what business day of the week it is and then carry out specific actions that vary based on the day. I will need to insert a “If” activity depending on the day to instruct the robot, “if its this day do this and if its this day do that”

You may use If,Swtich,Switch Flow to accamplish this
