Browsers are Crashing in Latest Update UiPath 2023.2.0

Hi All,

I have installed the latest version of UiPath 2023.2.0, while I’m trying to indicate elements on any of the browsers(i.e., Chrome, edge etc) those are closing automatically. Tried Uninstalling and reinstalling the studio but that didn’t worked. Kindly provide me the inputs to resolve the issue.

Hi @Jyothi_Ankaraju,

Try reinstalling the chrome/edge plugin. Neither my Chrome installation nor Edge installation had the problem you describe.

My versions:
Chrome: 111.0.5563.64 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Edge: 110.0.1587.69 (Official Build) (64-bit)
UiPath: 2023.2.0 community edition

Hi @Jyothi_Ankaraju,

There could be various reasons why the browser is closing automatically while indicating elements in UiPath Studio. Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try:

  1. Make sure that the UiPath Extension is installed and enabled in your browser. To check this, open your browser and go to the Extensions page. Look for the UiPath extension and make sure it is enabled.
  2. Try updating the UiPath Extension to the latest version. Go to the Extensions page in your browser and check if there is an update available for the UiPath extension. If there is an update available, update it to the latest version.
  3. Check if there are any conflicting extensions installed in your browser. Disable all other extensions in your browser and try indicating elements in UiPath Studio.
  4. Try using a different browser. If the issue persists with one browser, try using a different browser and see if the issue is resolved.

Hi @Catfish1115 and @ABHIMANYU_THITE1 , Tried reinstalling the browsers, No other extensions were enabled/installed apart from UiPath and the issue is with all the browsers.
Using windows 7 and below are the versions
chrome version 109.0.5414.120,
Microsoft Edge Version: 109.0.1518.78
UiPath Version: 2023.2.0

maybe it’s the Windows version.
