I am trying to install Automation suite on premises for installing AI center and Document understanding on premises. So here we are already using on premises orchestrator as standalone application for which we are using SQL express Now we are planning to install Automation suite.
Can we use the same SQL express for the automation suite as well or we have to install a new server.

You cannot use SQL Express for Automation Suite.
You must install SQL Server Standard or Enterprise.
Best practice is to use separate servers:
a. Existing standalone Orchestrator stays on SQL Express.
b. Automation Suite gets its own dedicated SQL Server instance.

Do you have any prior experience on installing automation suite in single node.
Can I go with single node deployment profile.
