Automation loses connection to Edge after 1 hour

I have an automation which runs for a few hours.
the problem is any activity that’s happens after 1 hour fails to find the element it is targeting.
when i stop the process and try to fix the target, dev studio cannot see edge.
ive added logging including time stamp and it’s exactly 1 hour from when Edge is opened.
is there a bug in latest studio or latest edge extension?

Hello I was wondering if someone could help. I’ve been running my process nightly for the past 3 weeks without any issues. Try upgrading the UiPath.System.Activities to latest possible version.

If still facing the issue please share the package version, edge browser version etc details to replicate the issue.

Its might be that your edge is updated and it is observed behaviour..please check this work around to solve the issue..this is observed with other users too

It is always a best approach to note down the browser versions running in Bot machines. Any unexpected behaviors - Following are the first few points to check

1. Is the extension still enabled / available in the browser
2. Any version change

if there is a version change - most probably - the difference in behavior is due to package compatibility. if you are not using the latest version - upgrading the Ui and system packages would help

If there is no change in the version - See if multiple bots are running in the same server and how much is the RAM utilization. If RAM utilization is more than thresh hold - this could happen. While rerunning - the ram is again beyond the threshold, and it could work again

Hi,
I think you are on the right path here.
I used edge://settings/system and I can see this feature is enabled, not only that, it was set to 1 hour. The same period I experience the problem.

I have turned this off in edge and have started my automation. I will know in > 60 minutes.
If confirmed, I will mark your advice as the solution.
