I am facing an issue while trying to run an automation process. The system displays the following error message:
“Automation cannot be started. Your user’s monthly Personal Automation quota has been exceeded.”
Due to this limitation, I am currently unable to start or test my automation, which is impacting my work. I would appreciate it if you could please help me with the following:
Confirm why the quota has been exceeded
Advise when the quota will reset
Let me know if there is any way to increase the quota or upgrade my plan
Your quota is exceeded because you have consumed all Robot Units or personal automation capacity allowed by your current plan.
The quota resets automatically at the next monthly cycle shown in Licenses → Consumables.
You can increase quota by reallocating Robot Units under Admin → Licenses or by upgrading to a higher plan.
A temporary workaround is to run or debug locally in Studio or Assistant, or use design‑time tests that do not consume units.
If helpful, mark as solution. Happy automation with UiPath
Hi
My plan is basic and i could not see the option for upgrading to community plan
also i donot see the option of increasing the business unit ?
whats the better solution
do you guys know how many robotic unit are there for individual user as am having 2 users on one the automation is running fine but on the other the quota exceeding message is appearing
These limits are part of UiPath’s licensing and intended to restrict how much automation you can run within a period.
For quota limit I guess you are on community if so you have a limitation. The quota typically resets at the start of the next month or billing cycle, after which you should be able to run automations again.
you need to buy the license. And community should not be used for commercial purposes
This error means you’ve already used all your monthly Personal Automation runs, usually due to frequent testing or triggers. The quota resets automatically at the start of the next month. To increase the limit, you’ll need to upgrade your UiPath plan or use a license with higher limits. As a workaround, you can test smaller parts of the workflow, use another user account if available, or wait for the reset.
