Automating Informix 4GL application via ANSI terminal emulation client

Hi there,

Has anyone here tried or know whether it is possible to automate Informix 4GL based application via terminal emulator (i.e. NetTerm) using ANSI standard?

we tried using putty but the data entered was not 100% accuracy, could you get any other option to automate informix 4GL.
