Automatically publish a package to Orchestrator from BitBucket/GIT source

Hi everybody,

Is there a way to automatically create a NuGet package and publish it to Orchestrator every time when the pull request in BitBucket is approved and code is merged with master (or any other branch)?

Hi @jreddy,
We are not offering such approach.

Hi @jreddy
Orchestrator not receiving any package update automatically, you have to do it manually.
Although in my perspective it’s not much good for the live environment because it will stop the robot also (specially Attended Robot) until you update the package form the robot tray

Anyway, the idea is good maybe Uipath has a new idea to manage it in the future, isn’t it @Pablito

Yeah, I know that. Our idea was to use automatic publishing in UAT, so that the code can be reviewed and merged with a specific branch, and new version published to Orchestrator for testing right away. Then you can also integrate it with jenkins and automate testing as well.

For PROD it does not make sence of course, but for DEV/UAT it seems like a sensible idea. So it seems that we’ll have to use UiPath to automate UiPath

Actually it’s the good point that auto publish is not secure way for updates. Of course our Orchestator Devs are constantly looking for new solutions and possibilities  for making Orchestrator better
