Attended and Unattended robots

Hi,

I want to know How to assign job as Attended or Unattended Robot in Orchestrator and Studio.
As per my experience,

   1. An attended bot waits for the confirmation before taking any action.
   2. An Unattended bot is used in back-office activities.

Also one more question,
The attended robot, the schedule doesn’t work 24*7 we have to manually turn on once in a day?

Thanks.

Attended Robot: Any human interaction with the robot is called Attended Robot.
Unattended: Without any human intervention, the robot runs independently is called Unattended.

The attended robot, the schedule doesn’t work 24*7 we have to manually turn on once in a day?

  • Need more details to answer this question. If you are scheduling a robot, then it comes under unattended robot because the robot is getting triggered from the Orchestrator and completes the job itself.

Thanks for replying @KarthikByggari,

I appreciate your answer.

Then How to assign task/process as an attended or unattended robot and published on orchestrator ??

Thanks.

While creating robots in orchestrator (above version 2018.3.x) it asks for which type of robot to create, based on your process nature you have to create the bot .

Thanks,
Meg

Thanks for replying @megharajky,

I had created Attended behavior type robot, And I scheduled that robot with Job, It is not trigger to run job.

Is there any other process regarding this.

Thanks.

As attended bot we can’t schedule where as human need to address that BOT and trigger himself.
