Are there any known limitations or compatibility issues when using SSL certificates from specific Certificate Authorities (CAs) with UiPath products

Hello UiPath community,

I’m currently exploring the implementation of SSL certificates with UiPath products, specifically UiPath Orchestrator and related components. As I dive into this topic, I would like to inquire about any potential limitations or compatibility issues that might arise when using SSL certificates from specific Certificate Authorities (CAs) in conjunction with UiPath.

Has anyone encountered any challenges or experienced any issues with SSL certificates obtained from certain CAs? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your insights and experiences.

Are you looking at obtaining a cert from a public or private CA?

Shouldn’t be an issue normally, as long as the CA in question is a well-known CA. By well-known, I mean the root certificate of the CA is installed in most PCs’ certificate stores by default. Example list here: List of Participants - Microsoft Trusted Root Program | Microsoft Learn
