APPS - required fields with Edit Grid

Hi,
we are using Edit Grid in APPS. There, people will be required to fill data. But I don’t see any options for the colums to request that this field is a required field (like in Action Center forms, where that is easy and possible), nor do I see any ‘validation options’ of the content.

would you have an idea how to do this?

like this date must be smaller than X and it is a required field:

In here you can use events…and validate the data

on column based, there are no events

so you would say on the edit grid level, do if events with pop ups?

for the user, it is not so userfriendly since he can’t see upfront which fields are required or not.

Edit grid do not support validation or any customization currently. But this is into Plan. sooner we may expect this functionality.
