API Access fails to load - Orchestrator dims and spins

Hello all,

We’re testing out some of the API functionality with cloud orchestrator and when we go to admin → tenant and try to click the API access option from the menu for Orchestrator the screen dims and the little spinning rectangle appears and never goes away.

I’ve also tried accessing from the User Account → Preferences and I’m getting the same result.
Is there something that needs to be enabled systematically on the cloud environment or on the particular tenant to allow API access?

Is sso or active directory enabled for your tenant? If yes then api access page cant be viewed

We’re currently set as “All Available Methods” and SSO is not configured at all. All login accounts are local to the Orchestrator Instance.

Try the below steps are as follows:

  1. Clear cookies and restart the browser.
  2. Login to Automation Cloud.
  3. Navigate to Admin. Click on the Tenant whose Orchestrator service API access is needed.
  4. For the Orchestrator service, please click on ‘Manage Access’. You will be redirected to the Orchestrator service for the tenant.
  5. Navigate to Admin again. Click on the Tenant whose Orchestrator service API access is required.
  6. Click on API Access for Orchestrator. API Access screen will be displayed.

I just tried this under the new admin experience mode and am still seeing the greyed out screen and the “spinning cube”.

Double-check the provided solution and don’t skip steps. It should work.

Also, you can create an external application for your Orchestrator API resources.

This was truly bizarre… I tried it again in chrome and it didn’t work. I switched over to classic admin experience and followed your instructions and that time it worked like a charm!
