Any success installing Studio on macOS using Wine or similar?

Hello All,

I’m new to UiPath, and learning about it by following Developer Certification track. My Windows machines are inaccessible, so I’m trying to use my MacBook to go through the training courses, even though I know that UiPath software is not certified, compatible, nor supported on macOS.

I tried installing Studio using Wine, but have gotten errors. Before spending too much more time troubleshooting, I’d like to know:
Has anyone experienced success installing and running Studio on macOS using [Wine], WineBottler, CrossOver, WinOnX or something similar?

Note: at this time, I’m trying to avoid running Windows on a Virtual Machine on this MacBook.

ERROR
On macOS Mojave (10.14.6) I attempted to run UiPathStudioSetup.exe after installing Wine. I’m getting an error:
Installation has failed
Please re-run this installer as a normal user instead of “Run as Administrator”

Thank you so much,

Hi @Palaniyappan,
Thanks for your reply.
In addition to avoiding virtual machines, I should have mentioned that I’m also trying to avoid setting up a new partition to boot into Windows.

In fact, trying to avoid buying the Windows license at this time, so I can get through the training.

Thanks,
JPG.

I gave up, so I’m temporarily using a server on Azure.
