Anchor-based table extraction from PDF using Document Understanding

Hello,

I’m trying to extract a text table from a native multi-page PDF using Document Understanding activities: Taxonomy, Digitize Document, and Data Extraction Scope with Form Extractor.

The issue I face is that the table I need may appear on different pages (page number is not fixed) and sometimes spans multiple pages. Because of that, I can’t use fixed-position extraction — I would like to rely on anchor-based configuration.

However, in Template Manager I can’t add anchors for the table: the table field descriptor does not even show the anchor icon (see screenshot 1). It looks like only simple fields (text/number) have the anchor option, but not tables.

Is there a way to configure a table field with anchors in Form Extractor?

I’ll check it, but all the screenshots in the official documentation of DU have this icon on tables:

So, it looks it’s possible…is it changed?
