an issue where clicking Expression Editor causes the entire Studio to freeze, and you have to kill the process to recover?
I’ve already upgraded to the latest version of Studio, but the issue still occurs.

This may happens sometimes due to cache, try below
remove all the cache and restart/reinstall the studio and restart you pc.
This will help you, give a try and let me know if this solved your issue.

Sometimes the studio may freeze
Go to the taskmanager and do end task of UiPath studio
Reopen again
If you still face the issue, Check the system.activities dependency in the manage packages by making runtime rule as lowest as applicable.

try below activity.
- Clear UiPath local cache folders:
%localappdata%\UiPath%temp%
- Reset Studio settings by deleting:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\UiPath
- Reinstall/repair Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
- Disable hardware acceleration in Studio settings.
- Create a new blank project and verify whether the Expression Editor works there.
- Repair UiPath Studio installation from Control Panel.
If the issue still persists, Studio logs and Event Viewer logs may need to be checked for AppHang or WebView2-related errors.

Hi @Hong_Qiuping , I see from the screenshots that this occurs on a Windows Legacy project. I tried repro’ing this using a Windows legacy project but I wasn’t able to get similar results. Does this occur on other projects as well or just this one? Would you be able to share with me in a message the logs of the Diagnostic Tool and we can investigate this further.
