Allocation Issue of Robot Unit

Question (TLDR): Does the allocation of RU (Robot Units) need to be done manually, and if so, how often? Can the process be automated?

Background:
I’m currently using Enterprise version of UiPath, but not yet subscribed Cloud Robot Units plan.
During my 2month free trial of UiPath Cloud Robot Units, the plan provided 6000 RU per month, at the end of 1st month, any unused RU were cleared.

Problem (IMPORTANT)
BUT, on the first day of the 2nd month, the RU in the pool were reset to ZERO, and I have to MANUALLY allocate them again to use the unattended robot.

Situations detail:
When I processed the unattended job on the first day of the 2nd month, the system will report an error (like screenshot below), but on the last day of the 1st month, there was no such error. Only after manually allocating RU in the Admin page, the job could be processed normally again, which is not favorable.

Is this manual allocation process only happens in the 2month free trial of RU? what is the allocation procedure like to be in the purchased annual availability plan?
Will the allocation be:

  1. fully automated if the plan is purchased continually
  2. the RU pool allocation should be done manually once a year
  3. Every month, as in the free trial.

Robot unit reserve

For Cloud Robot - VM machines, once a machine is created and the RUs are consumed, we also make note of the required RU quantity and internally reserve it for the following month.

What this means is that when a month starts, the required RUs for your existing Cloud Robot - VM machines are automatically deducted from the tenant’s monthly RU pool to make sure they can run for the month.

For this reason, you could find that the robot unit amount for a tenant can be lower than you would expect at the start of the month.

My assumption is as you’re on a Pro Trial or Free Trial, you might encounter manual allocation issues like this. But once you purchase a plan, the system will handle RU reservation and allocation automatically each month, ensuring your Cloud Robots continue to run without manual intervention.
