AIFabric - Training Model - Error with german 'ß'

Hello,

I’ve set up AIFabric on premise (thanks to Jeremy for the support) and wanted to retrain the document understanding invoices model.

I’ve labeled the data with the data manager and imported it into AIFabric. My data is in German.

When running the pipeline, it fails because of the following error:

2020-12-08 16:23:12,181 - wrapper.training_wrapper:run:147 - ERROR: Training failed for pipeline type: FULL_TRAINING, error: ‘ascii’ codec can’t encode character ‘\xdf’ in position 92: ordinal not in range(128)

After a quick google search I saw that \xdf corresponds to the German character ‘ß’

As far as I know, German is supported, so why do I get this error?
Do I have to replaces every ß in my texts?

It seems to only be a problem with version 1 on the invoices model.
Works fine with V4.

I was under the impression that I read somewhere to always use v1 for retraining, but I might’ve been mistaken.

This error occured with the out of the box invoice model from UiPath.
I do not have my own script and therefore cannot change anything.

But thanks for taking the time answering on a 1 year old post :smiley:
