Action center with unattended bot or Attended bot

Hi all,

I am trying to understand what are the decision criteria to either go for an attended bot OR to go with an unattended bot together with action center. Some pointers would help me a lot in designing the best solution.
What I think influences this decision:

  • use case complexity: what criteria make you decide to go for attended or action center?
  • pricing: when there are a lot of users, unattended bot would be better since otherwise you need multiple attended licenses and this becomes costly quickly if there are no license available
  • timing: whether it is possible that multiple users need to run the same license or not. In the latter case, each user/machine needs a separate license
  • scalability: what is the benefit of action center vs attended bots where you can intervene during the process?
  • number of users (see above)
  • volume/transactions to be processed

Hi @krisvandenbergh,

For action center, it doesn’t make much sense to have an attended automation type as execution will be happening in front of user only and data can be verified then and there itself. May be that’s the reason also that action center process can’t be run via uipath assistant.

Its mere purpose is to have human-robot collaboration in an unattended way.
