Access Action Center Website without port 1443

Dear All,

I have action center installed in Orchestrator server with port 1443. I can access the action center if I request by url https://domain:1443/ however we have a request to access it without port.

then, is it possible to do that?
maybe one of you have experience and appreciate it share to us

regards,
I

@irahmat

one straight way would be to use common port 443 …which allows calling as any other webpage

cheers

we though as you as well but it will be the last option because of long regulation to have a new server for Action Center instance.

so, possible we did try to use the LB with rule
https://domain/actioncenter redirect to https://domain:1443 but still has no luck.

now we did try to re-install action center to have a correct config but no luck because of no reason.

sad.

@irahmat

a redirect can be configured via a dns and web server…which involves multiple configs and changing the lb rule alone might not suffice it

if you have any web server then there are possible ways to redirect the url

cheers

thanks. that things what we are doing but we still cannot find the correct configuration.

sad. :sob: :sob:

The issue has been resolved by reinstalling the Action Center using the new URL with port 1443. However, please note the following considerations for future installations:

  1. Action Center URL Configuration
  • In Step #5 of the installation guide, avoid specifying the port in the Action Center URL. Ensure the URL remains clean, as adding the port here may lead to configuration inconsistencies.
  1. Load Balancer Configuration
  • On the F5 Load Balancer, assign the new URL to your hostname along with the port.
    For example:
    • https://actioncenter.domain.comhostname:1443

These adjustments should ensure smoother configuration and functionality of the Action Center moving forward.

Best regards,
Indra
