About the FTP Activities Pack

Hi

What is the above Pack about? Do I need it if I want to read/ write to some files placed in a sharepoint location or INTRANET folder?

As the mane indicates purpose of this package is to read/write files from/to an FTP server.
So it will not help with Sharepoint.

However there is a dedicated Sharepoint package in Connect

Thanks for the reply. But technically speaking for a file in an Intranet folder, can I get the robot to read/write it if I provide the exact link? Similar to a file on my Desktop. Or do I need extra Uipath activity to access a file in Intranet folder?

Technicaly speaking - For Intranet access is typicaly used HTTP/HTTPS protocol while for files on desktop is used SAMBA. So it is not the same at all :frowning:
