Try to use Active Accessibility (Marked in red in the below snap)as a framework when indicating element and select whole excel.

Here you can see I have selected the whole excel and validate the properties as @RajKumar_DC has mentioned.

After selecting that also it wont allow me to select entire screen

Put your cursor at the top of excel bar when indicating element.

  1. In you excel application scope select the visible property
  2. Use type into activity with [d(ctrl)]d[u(ctrl)] . Use the classic type into activity… if you are unable to find it…go to activities → filter icon → show classic and then search
