Issue description:

Resolution for 405 Method not allowed when accessing the Orchestrator URL .

Resolution:

405 Method Not Allowed means that the HTTP method is not supported.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • URL String Syntax: Verify the URL of the Orchestrator and try with actual URL example (https://orchestrator.com) with SSL secure.
  • Verify FQDN with IP: Verify the FQDN for the Orchestrator Server and IP address are properly associated by using ping from the client machine.
  • Uninstall new plugins: if added any recent plugins to the browser then remove the plugin and try to access the URL.
  • Verify in Rewrite URL. Check the URL rewrite if any special rules is enabled if any, disable the same.
  • Server-side logs. Verify the IIS logs and get the complete history of the request.
