2FA activity not showing in dropdown

Hi team, hoping for assistance with the below.

Automation Cloud Customer has Okta enabled as an Authentication method for their Orchestrator.

They are using this Marketplace component but facing issues: https://marketplace.uipath.com/listings/two-steps-authentication-component.

The issue is, whilst using Studio Web in 2024.10.4 to initiate and develop a project, “Two-Factor Authentication Activities” does NOT appear when it’s searched. The activity doesn’t exist in the “add activity” dropdown - see screenshot.

Can you please advise how they can rectify?

The 2FA activities from UiPath Marketplace are not available in Studio Web because these components are not compatible with web-based projects only some activities are supported in Studio Web.

To use them, develop your automation in UiPath Studio Desktop or look for newer alternatives that support cloud/web projects

Try opening the project from Studio desktop and once opened, install the package Two-Factor Authentication Activities

Now search the activity, use it, save the project to Cloud.

Now if you open the project from Studio web, you should be able to see the activity.
