I was wondering how to get notifications to users when a new task is added to the action center? I’ve had a look round Orchestrator and can’t see any settings for enabling that, so wasn’t sure if that was done automatically by Orchestrator, or if the bot needs a send email activity for this functionality.

Hi @Craig_Bannerman@andrew.groat ,
There is an Orchestrator alert of type info generated for every task assignment., however , these notifications are not accessible to new Action Center interface.
What we have seen our customers widely use is to perform task assignment from the workflow itself (wherever auto-assignments are possible) and then generate email notifications using email activities with direct URL to an action. This way, you can customize what kind of actions need notifications as well as club multiple actions in a batch etc.
hi there, there’s a new functionality where you can use orchestrator API to receive periodic notifications if an item is kicked to action center. you can find the resources here.
