2020.4.1 upgrade IIS Redirects

I have run the upgrade for Ocrestrator and i am now experiencing the IIS too many redirects as mentioned on the forums. The suggested resolution is to use a custom account for the Identity Server Settings, which i have done. But it is the same account that the application pool runs as well. This wasn’t mentioned during the installation that a new account was required?

How can i resolve it? do i need to create a new account for the App Pool running Identity to use?

In app pool settings, use custom account and provide user id and password.

If it’s GMSA just provide username with a dollar sign for e.x if username is JohnDoe provide $JohnDoe
